How to Install Canon Printer?

 


Canon manufactures a variety of printers, each with their own unique features and benefits, such as the ability to scan documents or send faxes. There are different printer models available, with each Canon printer using the same installation method that you must try before using the printer.

Plug one end of the USB cable into the Canon printer's USB port and the other end into your computer's USB port. Plug the power cable into the printer and outlet, but keep the printer turned off.

Insert the installation CD that came with the printer into your computer’s.

Tap Cancel Option when the New Hardware Wizard prompt appears.

Follow the installation prompts that appear once the installation CD is loaded. If the installation CD doesn't launch automatically, click "Start" and then "Computer." Double-click the CD/DVD icon to view the contents of the CD. Double-click "Setup.exe" to run the program. Wait for the software to be installed.

When the Printer Connection display on the screen, turn on the printer. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Tap on Exit option after installation is finished.
